Couchsurfers from San Francisco State U.

We couchsurfers are enjoying the company of two students from California for several days this week as they explore Boston and Cambridge. This is our second experience with hosting strangers who are part of the adventure travel-hosting system.  We were well hosted by numerous families who participate in the Evergreen Travel Club in 2010, as noted in our blog, "Breaking Away," and so, we return the favor. We learned from our guests how seriously overcrowded the University is in California. Students have trouble getting into courses that are required for their majors. Sad, indeed, when there is so much money in some quarters and so little for education, the future of the nation. I disliked school from start to finish, but I guess I had it good.
