Yesterday, we hiked Williams Canyon in Pike National Forest. In the evening, our relatives prepared a delicious
tieboudienne, or, fish and rice - the national dish of Senegal. Today, we crossed the plains of eastern Colorado and western Kansas to arrive in Hays, Kansas. We passed vast fields of harvested corn and wheat (now stored in the many silos along the way).
